It uses a Hisilicon Hi3518. 440Mhz ARM9 with 256MB of POP DRAM.

Could you point me to any reference about "POP" variant of this chip? All camera modules that I have seen on aliexpress seems to have a BGA DDR chip beside the Hi3518?
It will be perfect fit for a lot of applications.

This one has the POP DRAM.

You can buy it on Amazon

I have soldered in serial wires. That is the black/white/brown. I have not tried the USB connection.

The main ICs are CPU+DRAM, serial flash, Ethernet PHY, Ethernet magnetics, 8-SOIC driver for IR
It has 256MB DRAM

Thanks, I saw that PoP variant is Hi3518E. Do you mean 512 megabytes??? This is quite big, my impression was that it is megabits.
