For ages I have wanted to wire my LED room lights to the wifi and just ordered the ESP8266-12
1) ignoring the voltage issue, can this module handle this?
2) I have an Arduino and set up the ide but I'm lacking OSX tutorials, can anyone help?
3)I have a smoke detector module that output is a relay. I see the espbasic looks easy and wondered if the esp would mind having the relay act like a normal push button switch.
Sorry if this is in the wrong place but after trawling the site for two days I am yet to find the answer.
