#30977 Hi Everyone!

I was able to flash this device easily using USB and NodeEMU Flasher
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010O1 ... pd_dx_s_42

In the last 7 days, I've spent over 8 hours trying to get this unit to flash using NodeEMU's flasher.

ESP-01 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PA3 ... ailpages00

3.3v USB Serial
http://www.amazon.com/Mihappy-Ft232rl-S ... 160%2C160_

Power 3.3v
http://www.amazon.com/6-5-12V-MB102-Bre ... 3.3v+power

So far the connections are as follows

All three units are tied to ground to eachother

RX and TX are crossed respectfully

VCC on the 8266 is connected to the 3.3v powersupply

CH_PD is attached to the 3.3v line with a 10k Resister also attached (is this needed? What is the resistor for?)

GPIO is set to Ground

GPI2 is set to 3.3v

RST is set to ground and is removed from groud to reset the chip.

A large compasitor is put inbetween the ground and 3.3v rail of the power supply

I have tired reconfiguing my COM serial to USB to be COM1 instead of COM6
I've used Multiple multiple different BUAD rates.
I've swap the GPIO's several different ways (Approx. 50 different times roughly)
I've tried with CH_PD connected to high and then left Floating.
I've tried different firmwares and default settings.
I've tried a windows 7 and windows 8 computer.
I've tried several, several different USB to UART controllers, About 6-7 different 3.3v ones.

I was able to flash 0x00000.bin and 0x10000.bin to it but as soon as I try the internal firmware in the flasher or any other one downloaded from their site it gets about 7-8% then disconnects from the chip.

Anyone have any feed back?

Thank you for your help!

Please do. I've tried SEVERAL SEVERAL different types of hardware 3.3v power rails and several different 3.3v UART to USB and still no dice.
Thanks!!
