I cannot find the datasheet right now, but I remember everybody mentions 3.6V as maximum power source, there are lots of projects using 3.6V (or even more); so I guess it is pretty safe to use 3.6V.

mine running happily on 5 volts for weeks now yea I know its to mutch but else it wont switch my mosfets
