I have had the ESP8266 01 running smoothly with a simple webserver led sketch. For a few months now i have let the ESP8266 sit on a shelf not plugged in. Just stashed away until I could find a good use for it. Just recently I decided to plug it back in and play around with it some more just for the hell of it. When I plug it in, with everything in the circuit intact, as it were when I left it..It now won't connect to my network. The onboard GPIO0 LED just flashes in half second intervals consecutively. So I decided to flash it with the exact same sketch. It flashes fine, however when open a serial monitor and read data that the flashed script is running, I get this: .................................................
Which btw, each dot appears with every flash of the LED. Anybody got any suggestions???
I went and ordered a new one thinking that something is wrong with the chip.
