All,
I'm wondering what differences there are between the ESP8266 and the ESP8285. I've developed software for the ESP8266 using CHERTS' unofficial dev kit (which is great) and serial programming.
What I would _like_ to do is go from the 8266 to the 8285, and add it to a JTAG chain, even do boundary scan, if it's possible.
So I would like to know:
* Can anyone point me to complete english documentation of the differences between the 8266 and the 8285?
* Does anyone have experience working with the OpenSDA debugger and CHERTS' toolkit? What did it take to get that working?
* Does anyone have experience with the OpenSDA debugger and the ESP8285?
I haven't found clear answers to any of this by searching the forum or the 8285 datasheet. Anyone have more info about this device?
