my question is how I would go about to change the boot up message that ESP8266 gives when powered on ?
It should be "ready" but in last firmware it is a longer message with link to developer... 0018000902

This I can acommodate for own development like Arduino , putting the exact string that appears into my program

But it will not work with other software developed based on the clean "ready" string

Any help appreciated

- Thu Dec 04, 2014 3:10 pm #3985 Some devices are delivered with custom firmware. You need to install the official firmware from espressif which have the normal boot message. Although The firmware I am using I flashed myself and came from "Official Firmwares" in googledrive
