ESP8266 Community Forum

Is there an ESP8266 microPython forum? A quick google did not find one for me

Basically I am thinking of using microPython (as I use Python on my Pi's) but looking at the documentation it looks like it is using the ESP's serial port for a REPL console, whereas I'd like to use it for (binary) serial I/O, and use the built-in web based repl console.

Would it be possible to add a microPython forum in the Platforms section?

So far, the only issue I have is the REPL loop on the serial port, which I actually need for binary serial I/O.

Time to get the web REPL working for me...
