Is there a way to just point your system to play a single MP3 rather than playing a stream?
In short, I want to be able to play Mp3s which reside on my web server remotely using the ESP8266. I don't want to stream. Thoughts?

Can you please provide some guidance on how I can play an MP3 file rather than a stream residing on a remote server? (e.g., www.somedomainname.com/mymp3file.mp3 )
I really like this project but I don't need to connect to a stream. Rather, I need to just playback a single mp3 file.

nice work I try to rebuild your project but the vs1053 stucks. I used the same module as i can see in your documentation.

The serial monitor says

D: Restored settings: volume 80, preset 1
D: Reset VS1053...
D: End reset VS1053...
D: Slow SPI,Testing VS1053 read/write registers...

and then nothing happens.

Any ideas ??
