I have already been looking at fuses to protect it, the problem is finding space for them. With the two connectors in place, there are no more room left. On the PCB, it looks like there are plenty of space left, but it is all taken up by the two outlets. Only thing fitting under there, are smd components.
Initially this project was stalled for weeks, while I was trying to fit some proper fuses in there too, but in the end I had to give up. Even the relays are much more expensive than similar ones, simply because they are a slim version, that was the only thing I could fit in there.
