Hi all, and thanks for the replies.

Yes, I did change the bssid with the one from my router. I have as well WPA2, SSID broadcasting, fixed channel. Maybe it has something to do with the IP. I set it as fixed, but maybe my router does not like it (just guessing).

Hm, strange. Well, I almost used the LAN MAC address instead of the WLAN MAC
Moreover, due to a mistake of mine, I had an IP conflict. Maybe you can check that.
The last thing I can think of: you have pretty much noise on your channel. Have you checked that?
What's your WiFi.RSSI() value after connecting?

Best

to thoroughly analyze this situation you would have to set up an wifi-sniffer (like https://www.kismetwireless.net/) to see which station introduces delay at what stage.

Hi,

I've changed my router and, unfortunately, the time to connect increased to 3000 ms :-(
Tested multiple settings, no improvements. Btw. without BSSID it takes over 9000 ms ...

Best!
