Is it possible to disable or bypass the Wi/Fi stack and use the ESP8266’s radio hardware to receive and decode a (simplex) keying scheme, such as GFSK?

- Fri Aug 27, 2021 9:22 am #92146 1) certainly no documentation about this exists and Espressif will do whatever they can to make sure you don't learn how to do such a thing.
2) wlan (de)modulation is very probably done completely done in hardware, a 80/160 MHz CPU is way too slow to do this.
