I found photos online of the PCB for the button panel, and it looks like if i can make an intermediate PCB and get those JST headers, I should just need to run wires for power down to the main PCB. My plan is to relocate the aforementioned C1 on to my board, so I can use the original through-holes to intercept the 9V supply.
