PIR with 220V AC how to connect?

Hello all,
I have a bunch of these PIR salvaged from led lights dead after an year.

They are meant to be connected to the 220 VAC directly.
I was thinking to use a sonoff, connect to main input leads then connect the sonoff gpio ground to the negative output (small black wire) and a free gpio to the positive output.
Would this work?

I have to add that powering the pir pcb with 220V no voltage is coming out from the two small wires :/

Here some updated pics.
Unfortunatly no output voltage is coming out from the small leads while waving my hands in front of the sensor

You really always want to isolate mains power from any GPIO.

It wouldn't surprise me if the entire circuit (PIR-board and LED-board) runs on a lower voltage and use simple capacitor droppers to step down the voltage.
I think it would be wise to first reverse engineer the schematics before doing anything else: perhaps with some modifications you can run all off a safe(r) power supply.
