ESP8266 Community Forum

Hello,

When I connect my eps8266-01 programmed with ESP_Easy to the computer it works great.


But when I on my breadboard it powers (led is on) up but nothing happens.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? (it is all new for me)

Hi, you need to conect pin CH-PD to Vcc,
Just Google search esp8266-01 pinouts to find out where they are. Have a look here at one of my projects, Wifi Joke http://www.merrittsoft.com
