Hi,
I have been looking into using the ESP-08 module for a design that I am working on.
But have discovered that there seems to be two different flavors of the ESP-08.
Some have the 14 pins (7 on each side), and look like the module I had expected and seen documented on the wiki
wiki/doku.php?id=esp8266-module-family
However some look more like the ESP-07 without the antenna and have 17 pins (8 pins on each side and one at the top).
is anyone familiar with this 17 pin variant? and can they confirm that
a) the top pin is the antenna pin? and
b) does the module include the capacitor on the antenna line? or do I need to add that on my board?
