really frustrated with this litle chip... I actually got the AP MAC address in the Nodemcu flasher, and when it started flashing, the bar stoped after a very short time, it was an error WRITE FLASH TIMEOUT. Then i started to experiment with different Baud rates, and i changed it in the nodemcu flasher, and in the device manager. But now I even dont get the AP MAC address, and i get a different ERROR: set ESP8266 Adress timeout. I was searching the web for info but i didn find anything that would help me. People said that it worked when they changed computers, I did that but nothing changed, I changed the ports, also the computers, but the problem is still not fixed. please help.

the problem is fixed, if u guys are using FTDI from arduino, make sure that the vcc is connected to the 3.3 v. only than u can connect to the vcc and ch-pd of the esp8266 module.

Solved "Error: Set ESP8266 Address timeout" by running the tool in DOS from the arduino IDE:

C:\Users\gman\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\esp8266\tools\esptool\0.4.12>esptool.exe -vv -cd nodemcu -cb 115200 -cp COM3 -ca 0x00000 -cf Deauth.bin
