Hello Guys,

I waited two days. It didn't resolve the issue, so I replaced the regulator. It didn't help.
Anyway I appreciate your support.

Regards,
Mark

Apart from the fact that servicing a module like a WeMos is probably more expensive than buying a new one, it should be fairly easy to check the power voltages (or lack of) on the ESP using a multimeter.

This page has an overview and schematics of the WeMos board.

It is very likely the diode D2 on the schematics that's broken. An easy and cheap fix.
