Some questions about esp-open-rtos

Is it a feature-complete project?
Is it actively being developed? Last commit was Aug 17 2020
Is it widely used compared to the official RTOS (or NON-RTOS) SDK?
What I am getting at is whether I should spend my time learning to use it vs the official RTOS sdk. Since I like what they are/were trying to achieve. OSS, standards based, optimizations etc.
