#92167 Hello people, this is my first post. I was wondering how it is possible to increase the speed of the ESP8266 to more than 160MHz. I have already seen projects that take it quite a long way (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWT2w7v9szs) The only thing that interests me about the ESP8266 is its processing capacity, as long as it has a stable UART connection to send and receive, I am not interested in the rest (Control of GPIO, WiFi, Bluetooth, ...) I already set up the native SDK (not the "nosdk8266", the normal one) following this guide: https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp8266-rtos-sdk/en/latest/get-started/index.html#setup-toolchain and also succesfly load the hello world program and play a litle bit with it. Now, I am trying to empower this microcontroller as far as possible, if anyone knows where they should start to get the most out of this chip, they would be grateful. Greetings.

#93235 As you already have learned in the meantime, this is an area where Espressif keeps very secretive. As there are no ways to reverse engineer this kind of stuff, I am afraind we will never know.
