- Sat Jul 02, 2022 11:32 am #94886 Is https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... index.html the best instructions for installing the SDK, toolchain etc on Windows? It seemed to go OK but then I hit...
- Python click claimed not to be installed (and doesn't appear to be in the installed msys32 toolchain)
- Trying to update packages using pacman failed because of updated certificates
- Installing click using pip failed because of a missing complier (but probably the wrong one anyway!).
So I'm yet to manage to install any of the examples .
Anyone able to suggest where I might be going wrong or need to add some poorly/undocumented steps?

- Mon Jul 04, 2022 7:31 am #94891 I've been trying to update the packages using `pacman` but that has also failed because of SSL certificates. Found some instructions for updating these but the new certificates seem to be be ignored.

- Sun Jul 10, 2022 2:12 am #94919 Do you have any other python installed? If yes, try removing its path from environment variables.
