I mean it more likely about the license - don't I have to make the product open source or to mention on the package, that I use the ESP in my product?

If you are doing the same exact project as mentioned, why dont you use esp8266 07? As the original.

#59031 As far as open software, that's a good question. You probably have to so some research on that.

And for the esp8266 07 being out of stock, you could try ebay for the same exact module. In fact hate to say this but many things I got from bangood did not last, and I had the issue with the usb i mentioned earlier, maybe all this is just coincidence but I have stopped purchasing form them.
