ESP8266 indoor transmit range

I am doing a project where I need to transmit from an ESP8266 module to a router from any two locations inside a house.

Using some sort of antenna or other booster, not oriented in a specific direction, is it possible to transmit through multiple walls inside for a range of 75 meters? The ESP doesn't have to receive from the router at all, only transmit to it. I am assuming the router quality is an average household router, which can't be modified.

A constraint for the project is to be self-contained, so some sort of repeater is out of the question.

Also, if you know of some non-ESP solution to this, I'd be interested in hearing that too.

Thanks for your help.

75m inhouse through walls? reliable? Never ever. Occasionally maybe...
WiFi is allways two ways.

There are $30 devices ( wall plugins) ( Access points) that I use to extend the range. Or configure an esp to act as an additional AP
Place them halfway or it there is a metallic obstacle blocking the signal place them so they can triangulate around it.
