The ESP8266EX I am using is a Manufacturer: e0 Device: 4014
That is a ESP 1, but not sure on the memory.

I wanted to thank everyone for your help.
I Finally got them running with your help.
The IDE has changed a lot since I played with it last. with the correct IDE configuration and Power I am up and running.
