Where are the official AT firmware binaries for ESP8266

Hello,

I have an Adafruit Huzzah which I would like to use just as a WiFi breakout for an Arduino project. So I am looking for the original factory files to flash the AT firmware onto the chip.

Many tutorials assume Windows and use flasher.exe but I am using a Mac; I have discovered esptool.py, but i don’t know which binaries to give it to flash or where to safely download them from.

I have the Huzzah connected to an FTDI USB cable.

Thanks!
