How to use the SDK?

- Thu Jan 10, 2019 6:18 pm #80003 So i am used to program in c++ and c and i programmed Arduino before and also i programmed a few pic microchips so i dont need to learn how to program in C++ or C, however i have no idea how i should program the ESP? i want to use CodeBlocks IDE because i am used to it is there a way to include the whole SDK? is there a recommended IDE? i dont know how to manage the Make files or how to make them so when i tried to use the compiler from the terminal i got some errors i dont understand plus i didnt really like to program through Gedit or nano.

So if you can direct me to how to start programming the board using C and SDK like in CodeBlocks for example i would be thankful :D
