ESP8266 Robot needs Eyes

I have a home network With a Netgear Nighthawk router which is wired and wireless and is connected to the internet. My ESP8266 WiFi Controlled Robot is connected to this network but he badly needs a camera so I don't have to follow him.

So I bought a YI dash cam with WiFi and Live streaming. I thought this would be a good solution and got it at a great price. Unfortunately I found out it does not connect to my Netgear network, instead it has its own AP for live streaming through an Android App. I think it also has a windows app, but the point is it has its own AP and I cannot connect to both of them through one web page.

Is there a way I can have my Netgear access the Dash cam Network so I can somehow embed the live stream onto my ESP8266 robot web page?

Or should I consider an alternative to get a set of eyes on this robot?
