#82923 I have successfully (testing now) created me first project with an esp8266 and I am planning my next one!
The first project uses 4 float switches and they detect the water level in a 3500L water tank allowing me to stop automatic watering (using a blitzwolf wifi socket with ESPurna firmware) when the level is low so I can manually prioritize the garden's watering needs!

My next project (which I would like your ideas in order to avoid silly mistakes!) is the following...

I own a garage door with this controller (pdf at the bottom)
https://www.doorado.gr/products/pinakod ... s-230-vac/

I would like to open/close the door which is the easy part using a relay.
In addition if it is relative simple, I would like to detect doors position.
The is an integrated switch with the outputs of OPEN - CLOSE - COMMON

In order to protect the ESP I can not straight connect the GPIOs.
I thought of using diodes but something is missing!

Any ideas?
It is a very tight space so if there is better power supply from 220AC instead of using old mobile chargers pls advice!

Thank you,
Theodoros
