RCWController ios app and esp8266

i have found this nice app i would like to controller a robot. The App is RCWController for the ios. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rcwcontro ... 1084628679.
The app discusses using the transmitted data which looks like hexadecimal format. How do i incorporate this into my code? Right now i will be using a basic motor code to control L293D.
The App referrs to the RCWController.h file which seems to receive packets .
any help would be great.
