#93287 Hello all, I have more of a generic question about powering components. I want to use my 8266 in a project with a mini servo, FS90R, link. I'm trying to understand how to figure out if the 8266 can power the servo, I see that the datasheet says it has a 3.3v output, but the servo has an operating voltage of 4.8v-6v, however I see this servo being used with the 8266 in other projects. Just on paper, to me, it doesn't look like the 8266 supplies enough power to use the servo, is this correct?

#93302 You have to use a separate power supply for the servo. Four 1.5V batteries in series will be fine. You have to short the ground of the servo's power supply with that of the ESP8266.
