#93139 I’m trying to work out the overhead I have when drawing amps on the AOZ1282CI DC converter.
I see it’s taking the 24V/12V and supplying the board with 5V, but having trouble working out what onboard parts are using the 5V and taking up some of the 1.2A continuous output currents, as I plan to power some neo pixels from the 5v header, but don’t want to exceed the output current of the AOZ1282CI.

#93183 ummm... if you have no circuit diagram of the board, I think you can perform a test with a multimeter. That will give you an idea which part is consuming how much current while on power. I may sound dumb but actually, this type of project often has to be started on a trial and error basis. If you start with one neopixel ring, and see the result, I think that will give you a lead for the rest of your work.
