I found myself confused between the Wiki hosted at the esp8266.com website and the apparent Wiki hosted at Github ... see:

Has one deprecated the other? Which one should we use? I am assuming the web based version ... if so, can we deleted or otherwise flag the Github apparent wiki?

Me too.

Here at esp8266.com I get "Command disabled: edit".

@Neil: Your book is very useful!
You could publish your book as wiki. Then we could directly improve it.

Which wiki should I use, to summarize information?

I think, we don't need more than one wiki per language or only one wiki in English.

We could use the Actual ESP8266 Wikipedia page to populate the ESP8266.com Fan Wiki page. There are some modules that the Fan wiki is missing. But our page has some pictures.
