Dear ESP expert,

I am running ESP8266 V12-F. My firmware is running on USER 2 space (OTA) and I want to upgrade firmware on USER 1 space. But when I started upgrading, firstly I did erasing sector 1 (on by one) to write new chunk data (first 4096 bytes) of new binary file and I got failure: ESP is hung and restart (by none resetting watchdog timer).
This is never happen when I do upgrading on USER 2 space while running on USER 1 space.
I am running boot-loader V1.7 (boot_v1.7.bin).

Please give me some help.

Regards,
Fitz

Hi,

I have the exact same issue. Have you found any solution yet? I'm using the RTOS environment.

Thanks
