There does not appear to be any method to retrieve the SSID that the module is currently attempting to connect to. This would be a nice feature to have.

Uhh...You have to set the SSID when you config the connection.

Yes, but the module automatically reconnects to the last SSID in use upon bootup. At which point it has no idea what was passed to .config() at some point in the past.
