My suggestion is to add Open/Close button for Port connection.
I switch between CoolTerm/shell/LuaLoader so link to COMx cannot be used by only one app.

There is a checkbox in the settings window. I will check to see if it works and maybe bring it to the front.

Now that I have my esp8266 rain gauge installed in the attic, I will have time for work on the tools instead of the esp8266.

Hi,
I can't get my comport to show in the drop down list (the dropdownlist is empty)
I know it is active as I can use it in coolTerm

I just saw in another thread, that I should run it as administrator.
Now it works.
Thanks for sharing, it makes things a lot easyer
