Errors using Esplorer with Sample Lua Program

I have installed the Esplorer app on my W7 PC and have flashed the Wemos Node MCU module.
when I try to Save to ESP I get a couple errors. I have attached a screen shot to illustrate the errors.
Any help appreciated...

1) Ensure you use the right ftdi driver (there are some issues with some versions)
2) Ensure your ESP has enough power (ideally power it from a different source than the USB connected to your PC)
3) Check your cables & clean the connections

It uses the Silicon Labs USB chip and driver.
There is no other way to power and program other than USB.
The connections are good because I can upload the esp8266 firmware and I can also use the arduino ide and I don't have any issues. I only seem to have this issue with the esplorer software.

Order a wemos D1 v2 from aliexpress (4$). Works well
