Is it me or does that link to 2.1.0 badly explained?
The readme file still says use eagle for no boot but clearly the files are missing in 2.1.0
I've been using the Espressif Flash Download Tool and it's been working fine.
How would anyone flash version 2.1.0 now for no boot?

Guess you'd have to ask Espressif. We NodeMCU (firmware) people are consumers of their SDK just like you are.
