i find the Generic ESP8266 like board
but i miss esptool in my IDE

help me please!!!!

and when i upload a program i get this error

error: espcomm_open failled

what that is it mean?

I am having the same problem as u are having...

"warning: espcomm_sync failed
error: espcomm_open failed"

Can anybody give me the correct answer to it....
Using Arduino1.6.4 ide.
With Generic esp8266 module.

Yours is not syncing with the chip to upload . check all wirings and search on this board . Same issue over and over .
