Downloading and installing the new Arduino IDE for ESP8266

#21072 Once I completely removed the /staging/ board json reference and left the other (http://arduino.esp8266.com/package_esp8 ... index.json) in there alone, I was able to go back to using 673 where everything appears to be working again - at least as well as it ever had on 673.

#21077 OK if it gives trouble again you can remove the json line and remove the whole lot you have been playing with and go back to the old method of going to Git-hub yourself and downloading the zip file and unzipping in your libraries file as it used to be .

#21105 Yeah, I think I'll end up doing that. Thus far I've been following the 'programming for dummies' route but lately I've lost a ton of time because I never bothered to learn how all of this happens on the back end when it comes time to compile/flash.
