Serial issue on macOS

Hi there , i'm new to this kind of stuff so i have no idea what to do im running mac os mojave and arduino ide 1.8.10 and when i'm trying to upload a sketch to the esp8266 the following errors appear , i have attached a screenshot of the errors below . Thank you in advance

try downgrading the arduino esp core to 2.4.2, that should help

Hey thanks that worked at first i had an issue like espcomm failed but then i just selected the usb serial port and it worked like a charm
