Resurrecting this thread... First of all, thanks to martinayotte who is the only person in the world who has gotten this far. I have only stopped by to say that I have the same issue as Joaquin in that whichever instance gets the .begin last rules. I have just started hacking on this and will post back up here if I get it running. In the meantime, if anyone else has defeated this issue, please help a brother out!

The problem is the in the SSD1306Wire.h , part of the init they change the Wire Clcck,
comment this line Wire.setClock(700000); and it should work fine.
