#57737 Hey guy, Here is my situation. I have a speaker attached to GPIO.If I bootup the device with the speaker attached attached to GPIO it goes into bootloader mode it seems. If I boot up and then connect the speaker, it works. Is there a way disable GPI0 on startup, so that the bootloader mode isnt polled. I apologize for the noobness...any help would be awesome!

#57779 GPIO0 cannot be disabled at bootup but you could use a MOSFET to drive your speaker instead of using the GPIO directly. You should not use any GPIO to drive something that uses power, especially not a highly inductive speaker. Or you could use a piezo sounder which is high impedance.

How small is small?
