The esp8266 seems to beat the arduino hands down in all regards (is there anywhere it lags behind?) . So how is the comosts with arduino ide? I'm new to all this and am learning the arduino, will It be more or less the same?
Also what versions do you recommend and why? I ordered a nodemcu and a wemos D1 to begin with and they should be here in a month's or so.
