do you have any idea about why SD card is getting hot sometimes?
I've noticed if I insert SD card after starting my sketch (after getting error initialization fail) then SD card is getting so hot.

For anyone facing the following error when using a MicroSD Card Adapter from CATALEX, v1.0, 11/01/2013, wired to the NodeMCU:

Initializing SD card...Wiring is correct and a card is present.

Card type: SD2
Could not find FAT16/FAT32 partition.
Make sure you've formatted the card

Apparently, this card adapter doesn't work with Micro SD SDHC cards, so, what really solved here was to change the card to another one which IS NOT a SDHC card.

Also, the SD card can't be initialized at SPI_FULL_SPEED, so, change it to SPI_HALF_SPEED, or even SPI_QUARTER_SPEED.

One more thing: I am not sure if it's related or not but the card that worked has 2 GB of capacity and not 16 GB as I was trying initially with SDHC, so, if anyone has other cards with different capacities, try to check if they work and post results back on here please.
