I wish you the best of luck ematson5897!! I came to this thread because I want to communicate with my TLC5940 via SPI from my ESP8266. I take it you achieved this? Anything I should know? My project is lighting effects (fade in and out), banks of different white wavelengths, and was previously controlled by a Pro Mini. I am replacing the Pro Mini with the ESP8266 to make my project web-enabled. Any direction or advice would be appreciated!
