I'm wanting to build apps / interactive web pages that look good on phones and desktops when served from the ESP.
I've not done any web based work really before, and I'm a bit lost as to which is the best to start with...
I've got jquery mobile working quite nicely, in an initial test... but there are other 'lighter' weight versions. I'm wanting to serve everything from the ESP, so it is not reliant on an internet connection...
additionally I would like to have a method of having dynamic content which is updatable on the client side without refreshing the whole page. I'm thinking websockets or something like that, but have never used them.
Does anyone have any advice / suggestions... so i don't spend ages learning one, only to figure out i would have been better of going with something else...
