- Wed Dec 23, 2015 4:08 am #37006 I solved my problem. It seems that you cannot use the Arduino Mega2560 as a USB to serial converter while flashing new firmware onto the ESP2866. I bought an FTDI USB to serial converter and now it's all working fine!
