A little update.
I'm progressing on the TFT functions.
The touchscreen works correctly, a full set of GUI TFT objects is implemented (button, label, bar, checkbox, radio, icon, toggle).
The images can be loaded in bmp format. The loading of the BMPs is very fast!
Just to give a little demonstration, I prepared a very simple example: another weather station
- sorry for that, it's just a demo.
All the code runs in basic, including the handling of the touchbuttons.
The weather data comes from, as you can imagine, openweatherAPI.
I put a little video here :
As you can see the range of the applications possible with the ESP Basic is growing more and more.
