#34828 ThingSpeak gets my vote!!

I have a ThingSpeak server set up on a Raspberry PI and have been able to send temperature values to it using LUA .

But you are rocking this BASIC which is where I am more comfortable / capable.

thanks

#34830 IDK I think it would be best if we used one that we could host on a server if we wish someone that releases the server code as an open source project so there are zero third parties just you and the server if we rely on third parties they may start charging monthly fees and pushing spam and advertisement down our throats as time goes on seems to be the progression I am not to fond of that not to mention it is a pinch point a central location for hackers to gain control of a lot of devices.

Just thinking out loud here so whatever you add I would keep this in mind.

#34831 ThingSpeak is open source and can be loaded on your own server.

I have done just that. I have it up and running on a RaspberryPi (1st gen) and it seems to be working quite well.

If you search on "thingspeak raspberrypi" you should find a guide to get it installed on your own.
I am pretty sure it will also run on other platforms also.

If you can't find it let me know and i'll post a link when it get off work.
Just wish my day job wouldn't eat up so much time.
