I'm not at all certain, but I'm beginning to form the impression that the web sockets or some element of the connection protocol are what's affecting certain things. There is a known issue with one of the stacks in vista, must look it up.

Could you please share the modification that you made on espbasic program? I am using arduino 1.8.5 and i follow up the above recommendations but i am receiving error Allmyvariables was not declared.
